Outlook – The message interface has returned an unknown error

When saving an email message to a network drive, I get the following error;

“The message interface has returned an unknown error.”

Instead of saving the message, a tmp-file is created on the network location. When I rename the tmp-file to .msg, then it appears to be the message that I tried to save.

Import NK2 files into Outlook 2010 suggested contacts

Outlook 2010 does not use an NK2 file anymore to store suggested contacts instead it uses a file called Stream_Autocomplete.dat located in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\RoamCache, this means you can’t copy the NK2 file from one machine to another when upgrading.
